Stereo icon, a tutorial for Illustrator to draw the stereo icon of a vintage camera
Make this vintage camera with basic shapes and use flat colors to get a very cool effect. Our camera was inspired by Leica M6. I recommend it to my friends and hope you can enjoy it.

1. How to create a new document and set the grid
Press Control-N to create a new document. Set the units to pixels, and then enter 800 x 600 for the width and height of the document. Then in the advanced options, select RGB, Screen (72 ppi), and make sure the Align New Objects to Pixel Grid box is activated before clicking OK.

2. How to create a camera body
In order to give it shape, we will start from the indispensable part of our camera, its body. Make sure the mesh is active so that you can work easily and follow the tutorial without any problems.
Step 1
Click the center of the canvas with the Rectangle Tool (M), and then set the width to 300 pixels and the height to 170 pixels in the pop-up window. Fill # e3e3e3 with color and delete the stroke color.
Step 2
Click the canvas using the Rectangle Tool (M) to create a new rectangle of 130 x 20 pixels. Aligns the rectangle to the upper left corner of the main rectangle.
Select the two rectangles and apply Minus Front in the Pathfinder panel.
Step 3
Use the Rectangle Tool (M) to create a 30 x 18 pixel rectangle and place it in the upper left corner of the body. Use the Direct Selection Tool (A) to select the rectangle, and then remove the node in the lower left corner, leaving only one angle.
Select two numbers and apply Minus Front in the Pathfinder panel.
Step 4
Click the canvas using the Rectangle Tool (M) to create a new rectangle of 300 x 104 pixels. Place the rectangle on the body 16 px from below. Set the fill color to, no strokes# ebbd63
In the Transform panel, set an 8-pixel chamfer in the lower left corner.
